Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 9 October 2026

Research participation should be accessible across manuscript submission, peer review, and conference workflows.

Our approach

PaperNest aims to provide readable content, keyboard-operable navigation, labelled controls, visible focus, responsive layouts, and clear feedback. Accessibility is an ongoing engineering responsibility. This statement is not a claim of independently audited WCAG conformance across the whole application.

Using the interface

Use browser zoom and device accessibility settings as needed. Public policy pages include heading structure and section links. Theme controls offer light and dark appearances, and relevant visual effects respect reduced-motion settings. If a particular control or workflow remains difficult to use, tell us which step blocks you.

Manuscripts and downloadable documents

Author-provided PDFs, supplementary files, and third-party publication materials may have accessibility limitations. Authors should supply searchable text, meaningful reading order, descriptive figure captions, and accessible alternatives where practical. Request a suitable format through the responsible venue if a document prevents you from participating.

Conference accommodations

Conference accessibility, dietary arrangements, and physical-event facilities are managed by the organizer. Provide only the information needed to arrange an accommodation and contact the organizer before the event. A field on a registration form is not confirmation that an accommodation has been arranged.

Report an accessibility barrier

Email the contact below with the affected page or workflow, the action you were trying to complete, and what prevented it. Include browser, device, and assistive technology details if helpful; do not include passwords or confidential manuscript content. State your preferred way to receive help and any time-sensitive submission deadline.

Alternative support

Ask for an accessible alternative when a workflow is blocked. Support and the relevant editor or organizer will need to coordinate the next step; a support request does not automatically extend a deadline. Visit the Help Center for account and workflow guidance.
