Registration, Fees & Refunds

Conference participation and publication costs must be checked with the responsible venue.
Registration and submission are separate
Creating an account, submitting a paper, and registering as an author, presenter, attendee, or volunteer are distinct actions. Registration does not establish manuscript acceptance, presentation eligibility, a visa, accommodation, or payment confirmation. Review the event’s published instructions for required steps.
Fees and publication charges
Check the journal or conference’s current fee schedule, currency, deadlines, taxes, and included services before committing. Conference participation charges and article-processing charges, where applicable, are venue-specific. A free platform account does not waive an organizer’s event charges or establish a platform-wide publication-fee guarantee.
Payments and confirmation
Follow only the payment instructions published by the responsible organizer or enabled payment service. Keep receipts and transaction references. A registration record or successful manuscript submission is not a payment receipt. Do not send card details, banking credentials, or passwords to support.
Cancellations, transfers, and refunds
Refund eligibility, cancellation deadlines, substitutions, and no-show treatment are determined by the organizer’s terms and applicable law. Request the relevant policy before paying if it is not displayed. PaperNest does not publish a single refund rate or period for every event and cannot promise a refund for payments collected by another organization.
Changed or cancelled events
The organizer is responsible for communicating postponements, programme or venue changes, cancellations, and any applicable refunds or credits. Contact that organizer about travel, accommodation, participation, or payment consequences. Do not assume that acceptance or registration reimburses independent travel costs.
Raise a registration or payment issue
Contact the event organizer first with the event name, registration email, registration or payment reference, payment date, and requested resolution. For a platform record or access problem, email support for assistance and routing. Do not attach sensitive payment information.
